Zephyron

The Storm-Crown Drake

A crowned drake carrying broken lightning rods across its wings, redirecting storms rather than summoning them.

Standing 88 cm tall, Zephyron uses a broad metal wing frame, resin body and ABS membrane plates. Cold-white electrical veins use translucent parts, dark-cobalt scales and storm-silver armor are layered by hand, and the broken lightning rod is pinned into the base.

The Drakoria Chronicles

The Burden Carried by the Sky

01

The Storm Crown

Zephyron caught his first lightning strike as a hatchling above the Silent Sea. The current passed through his horns and spread across the wing membranes without burning him. Every later storm added another point to the crown. Older dragons called it power. Zephyron understood that the sky was leaving electricity it could no longer carry inside his body. The crown was not rule, but accumulated debt.

02

The Observatory Rod

The eastern observatory’s lightning rod was Zephyron’s landing point for centuries. Astronomers read storm direction from his arrival, while Nyxara recorded the white veins of his wings against the lunar clock. During the war the rod split in two. Zephyron drove the broken half into the rock and held every strike in his wings until the observatory was empty.

03

Glass Thunder

Some storms make no sound. Lightning freezes inside clouds and leaves glass-like lines. Zephyron noticed these silent currents multiplying after the constellations vanished. His veins normally burned white, but turned pale violet within those clouds. When he drew one current into the broken rod, the metal melted into a fork pointing north.

04

The Falling Storm

One night an entire cloud layer began descending toward the city. Zephyron did not disperse it. He opened his wings into a vast circle and redirected the current into old water channels before it reached the streets. The fractures in his membranes remain from that night. Repaired with translucent plates, they now glow like a map of every storm he has carried.

05

The Final Horizon

As the northern current strengthens, Zephyron’s crown turns toward the Last Flame. Aelthra carries its prophecy and Nyxara the trail of missing stars. If he plants the broken rod at the center, the entire burden of the sky may discharge into one point. He cannot know whether it will rekindle the flame or extinguish it. He chooses responsibility before the storm can choose for him.
